Summary: Our client was a vendor of media-asset management software. We assisted our client in creating an appropriate enterprise software license and helped negotiate and close the company’s first seven-figure license deal. We also helped it apply for and obtain trademarks for its most important products. Over time, as our client’s business evolved, we helped draft appropriate agreements to reflect the changes in the company’s business model, such as application service provider, consulting and software maintenance agreements. When our client was involved with new business partners, we helped ensure that it had the agreements in place to protect its most important assets, whether they were confidentiality, partnership or license agreements or strategic alliances.
Result: We established a long-standing relationship with the client.
